The story behind the celebrations
Lalyza Events is more than an event decor company. It is the work of one founder's eye for detail, built into a studio that styles celebrations in two cities.
Meet Sara Biratu, founder and creative force
Lalyza Events was founded and is operated by Sara Biratu. It brings a blend of creativity, meticulous attention to detail and a genuine love for celebrations to every project.
Sara's path here was unusual. A former flight attendant with a degree in Journalism, she spent years travelling and meeting people from very different cultures, which is where she developed her eye for detail and for how a room should feel.
Six years on, that work now runs through a studio with two homes: Melbourne, Australia and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Every event tells a story. We work closely with clients to bring their own vision to life rather than applying the same template twice.
Whether it is a wedding, a birthday, a corporate function or a community dinner, the aim is the same: a room that looks considered, and an experience guests remember.

The team
